When Fogg’s long-term customer, Brighton-Best International, needed help expanding a number of their regional distribution centers, they turned to Fogg. The solution was two (2) modern, distribution centers, each 108,000 sq. ft. in size. Fogg identified sites in the Cleveland and Detroit areas, performed site due diligence, purchased the sites, remediated wetlands, oversaw road and utilities work, designed the buildings, constructed the projects simultaneously and leased the finished products to Brighton-Best. While Fogg expertly handled these many complicated tasks, the process for our customer was seamless. They simply entered into a lease with Fogg. The design of the buildings is impressive:
As Brighton-Best’s real estate broker, Fogg assisted Brighton-Best with the relocation and consolidation of their Atlanta Regional Distribution Center and Service Center by conducting a thorough search of the market for sites and existing buildings. After identifying an existing property and negotiating a lease, Fogg engineered a solution to accommodate the customer’s heavy racking requirements and designed extensive improvements to the property. Fogg then oversaw construction of the improvements. Again we provided Brighton-Best with seamless service from brokerage, to design, to construction, to move-in.
Fogg’s Vice President, Rick Neiden, traveled to England to offer engineering, design-build and project management expertise for Brighton-Best International during the build-out of their new 40,000 sq. ft. facility. Brighton-Best International’s principals called on their long-standing relationship with Fogg by entrusting our staff to make sense of international building standards and help ensure that Brighton-Best received the same highly effective building they have come to expect from Fogg in the States.
